Power Awning 9100 Will Not Close All The Way

I am having an issue where my dometic power awning won t retract. My domitec awning will not roll all the way in and only clicks when attempting to extend. Where exactly do you think the noise is coming from. It appears to be off center slightly.

Robert rv mechanic replied 1 year ago it could be the plastic roller cap in the tube that holds the awning completely in and prevents it from coming out it could be stripped out. You put the new one in the same way. My dometic power rv awning will not fully close against the housing that is mounted to rv. We replaced the fabric on our dometic 9100 series power awning.

Having an awning extended is essential during rain or when the sun is shinning bright. Best to have someone holding the awning out while you do this so it won t retract on you.

Low 12v power this could be caused by a bad battery or the 12v converter in your rv may have failed or be failing. Here are the items to check for power problems.
