Use the nail to pull it flush against the interior of the siding. Mix it with just a bit of superglue. For holes up to and gouges narrower than 1 2 in use elmer s interior exterior carpenter s wood filler. Any product intended for interior use will crack and wash out in short order.

How to repair holes in wood siding. Fill the siding holes with wood filler. With luck the nails will pull out a bit so that when you tap the board back the nailheads will pop out just enough to get the pry bar under them. You should lay the craft sticks on the side they won t be seen from.

Put a couple of drops of wood glue on each end of the shim and allow the glue to set for up to 5 minutes.
