Painting Plastic Window Sashes

Use a paint brush to apply a top coat to the wood parts of the window sash.

Position a 6 wide putty knife against the sash and glass. With the old paint removed and the wood cleaned up and repainted prep the sash before the old glass can be put back in. Don t forget that the exterior paint could also cause the sashes to stick. These areas are not seen or readily exposed to the elements so there is no cosmetic reason to paint them but there is a more practical reason not to paint them.
